Scholarship scheme for parents of parents engaged in unsanitary occupations:-

Objective:

The said scholarship scheme has been implemented to provide educational opportunities to the children of parents working in unsanitary occupations and bring them into the mainstream of society.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Permissible for children of persons engaged in unsanitary occupations, scavengers traditionally associated with unsanitary occupations, skinning, skinning.
2. This scholarship is applicable to all castes and religions.
3. This scheme is centrally sponsored and there is no income requirement.
4. Persons doing unsanitary business are required to submit a certificate from Gram Sevak and Sarpanch, Municipal Head Municipal Corporation Commissioner / Deputy Commissioner / Ward Officer that they are doing unsanitary business.
5. Caste certificate is mandatory for children of parents born in Scheduled Castes.

Benefits:

etc. Students not staying in 1st to 2nd hostel Rs. 225/- per month and ad hoc grant of Rs. 750/- is payable. etc. 225/- per month and ad-hoc subsidy of Rs. 750/- per month is payable for students not residing in 3rd to 10th hostel. Those living in hostels etc. 700/- for students of 3rd to 10th standard and ad hoc grant of Rs. 1000/- is payable.
