Senior Artist Gratuity Scheme

Objectives:

The government has implemented a monthly subsidy scheme for the livelihood of the deserving elderly artists who are doing substantial work in the field of literature and art. For this, the age of the artist is 50 years, proof of income and concrete proofs of presenting state level programs are required. Every year 60 artists are recommended for grant.

Nature of Benefit
