India’s first AI-powered Anganwadi launched under Mission Bal Bharari by Zilla Parishad Nagpur revolutionizes rural early childhood education. Located in Waddhamna village, Hingna taluka, it targets children aged 3-6 with immersive tech tools.

AI dashboards track individual child progress in real-time.
VR headsets (Meta) enable virtual jungle, space, and nature explorations.
Interactive smart boards, tablets, and gamified apps teach poems, songs, and concepts.
Anganwadi workers trained on advanced tech operations.
Launch and Impact
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated it in July 2025 at Metro Bhavan, attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and others. Bridges rural-urban education gap by providing urban-level digital access to underprivileged kids. Won SKOCH Silver Award in January 2026 for early childhood education innovation.
