    Minor Irrigation Department is an important department of Zilla Parishad Nagpur and under it Hingana, Kalameshwar, Narkhed, Ramtek, Umred and Kuhi sub-divisions are included. Technical, accounting and institutional works are done in micro irrigation department. Under the sub-division, grants are received through the District Development Planning Committee for carrying out development works mainly in the rural areas of dams, ponds, irrigation wells, Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyaan etc.

    Structure of Minor Irrigation Department

    Hon. The Additional Chief Executive Officer is the Head of the Department and the Executive Engineer is the Head of the Office. Six under the supervision of Executive Engineer. Executive Engineer, six. Accounts Officer, Junior Administrative Officer, Branch Engineer and other establishment clerks and attendants etc. Officers/Employees are. These administrative officers have divided all the subjects of this department in 14 working seats.

    1. Schedule of work

      Schedule of services to be provided through Minor Irrigation Department is presented in Annexure-2. Matters mentioned in Section 11 of Chapter No. 3 of the Maharashtra Government Servants Exchange of Transfers and Prevention of Delay in Discharge of Government Duties Act, 2005 have been incorporated.

    2. Rules/Governing Decisions

      Information about the rules or important government decisions related to this department are issued from time to time by the Rural Development Department, Finance Department of the Government of Maharashtra is available on the website of the Government of Maharashtra.

      • Redressal of mortgages/complaints

        In case of delay in completion of work or any other delay, Executive Engineer, G.P. Complaint can be registered with Nagpur. And it will be the responsibility of the concerned officer to fulfill the complaint within 7 days from the receipt of the complaint. Even after this, if the citizens are not satisfied, the concerned Mr. Additional Chief Executive Officer G.P. They can complain about this to Nagpur. It can be presented before Garhani by visit/ letter and also through e-mail.

      • Review/Overview of Citizens’ Charter The usefulness and effectiveness of the Citizens’ Charter is reviewed annually by the Micro Irrigation Department and changes are made as necessary.
      • SUGGESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC The Charter of the Citizens shall always be open to the solution of the problems of the common citizens and may be amended from time to time after serious consideration of the values of the honorable citizens. Sanad will always support the citizens who avail the services under the Micro Irrigation Department to assert their rights.
    3. Implementation of Citizen’s Charter The Minor Irrigation Department is committed to implementation of Citizen’s Charter.
