Aided special schools/workshops providing special education for the differently abled through NGOs

Purpose:

1. Special Schools Free special education for disabled students aged 6 to 18 years
2. Special workshops Free special training for disabled or adults aged 18 to 45 years

Nature of Benefit:

3. Special schools- To provide free education facility to the blind, deaf-mute, mentally retarded, and physically challenged students using special education method and special educational materials, along with arranging accommodation and food.
4. Special workshop- to give special training to blind, deaf, dumb, mentally retarded, disabled adults in various professions according to their disabilities through special training.

Non-Governmental Organizations Finance:

• Salary – 100 percent of salary expenses of eligible employees as per staff profile.
• Non-salary – 8 percent of salary expenditure due.
• Building – Public works and Rs.900/- per month per student of physically challenged category and Rs.990/- per month per student of mentally retarded category for 10 months.
