Incentive grant to inter-caste married couples

Objectives:

This scheme has been launched to provide financial assistance to inter-caste married couples to reduce caste differences in the state and create communal harmony.

Nature of benefit:

If a person belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Open Caste, Nomadic Tribe and Special Backward Class is married and a person belonging to Upper Caste, Jain, Lingayat, Buddhist, Sikh is also married. Married couples Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 50,000/- is provided to inter-caste couples after February 2010. This Dhankarsh is provided in the joint name of husband and wife.

Benefits:

If one person from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Freed Castes, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Classes and the other from upper castes, Jains, Lingayats, Buddhists, Sikhs are married, also from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Freedmen Castes, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Classes.
