Provision of prosthetic limbs to the physically challenged according to their disability :-

Objective:

To physically rehabilitate the disabled.

Criteria:

1. A disabled person should have a disability certificate of at least 40% and above.
2. The monthly income of disabled person should be less than Rs.2000/- per month.
3. Should be a resident of Maharashtra state.
4. Equipment/tools should be recommended by experts.

Nature of Benefit:

To provide financial assistance upto Rs.3000 for equipments like three wheeler cycle, prostheses, crutches, calipers etc. to the physically handicapped persons and glasses, canes etc. to blind persons, tape recorders for education of class 10th further blind persons, personal hearing aids for deaf persons etc.
